What is a Macarena Solar Light?
The Macarena Solar Light is a skull that is especially fitted with a solar panel light which will give off light during the night. It is hand painted, with a Dia De Los Muertos motif, by authentic artisans. The Macarena Solar Light can be placed outdoors, or indoors. It can be placed in your lawn or garden, the stake can be removed and the skull can be placed on your furniture as indoor decoration. The solar light is also removable and replaceable.
The skulls come in various colors and since they are hand painted, each paint design is unique. Each painting is very detailed with fine brush strokes depicting complex geometric patterns, flowers, birds, and a whole array of traditional designs.

It started with an accidental trip to Oaxaca Mexico, where I received the inspiration to start a hobby with the intention of integrating modern innovations with Mexican handcrafts. I started tinkering out my garage and my friends started taking interest in what I was creating. Eventually more and more people begin taking interest and some of them even offered to buy some from me. Needless to say I was surprised. Even though it was a slow start I decided to start this shop out of my garage which has become a focal point of my friends and our activities together.
